Sport England

Sport England has awarded a three year contract to NetConstruct for consultancy, advice and the development of new web applications.  The framework agreement runs to 2013 and was won against stiff competition from over 60 UK agencies.

Sport England is the government agency responsible for building the foundations of sporting success, by creating a world-leading community sport system of clubs, coaches, facilities and volunteers.

Under the contract NetConstruct will provide new web applications and digital technologies with specific functionality for Sport England itself, the 46 national governing bodies of sport and other sporting bodies. Social media, mobile and web integration are all in the starting line up of requirements.

Commenting on the award David Bentley, Managing Director of NetConstruct, said “We’re delighted that Sport England has selected NetConstruct as one of its partners for this important three year web programme. Coinciding with the run up to the 2012 Olympics, it comes at one of the most exciting times ever for sport in this country.”
