NetConstruct’s new BluJam framework allows you to deliver the precise information and services that are most valuable to your mobile customers - and optimises it for easy use on smartphones.

NetConstruct managing director David Bentley said: "Mobile access to conventional websites is up 50% in the last few months and rising – but many mobile users find it frustrating, difficult to view and often a waste of time.

BluJam solves that problem. BluJam can be configured for a wide range of web applications and has its own content management system. It creates a step change in how you do business with customers on the move.”

Case Study : Fountains Abbey, The National Trust

Fountains Abbey, a World Heritage Site, has maintained its reputation for marketing innovation and is using NetConstruct’s new BluJam framework for its mobile platform.

Through BluJam, NetConstruct has “slimmed down” its original, multi-lingual website for Fountains Abbey – the National Trust’s most popular visitor attraction – to create a complimentary version for iPhones and similar devices.

Chris Fowler, General Manager of Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal, said: "We're delighted NetConstruct chose Fountains Abbey to launch their smartphone framework. They re-designed our website in 2008, with improvements including downloads and a video, so we're very excited about this further development, which we're sure will prove a successful addition to our web presence."

Fountains Abbey’s BluJam site can be quickly downloaded for specific information, including opening times, directions, contacts, image gallery, MP3 audio guide and high quality video – all critical information for attracting visitors on the move.
