NetConstruct streams Queen's visit worldwide

NetConstruct's sponsorship of the Great Yorkshire Show was another resounding success for this years 150th show.  The website which is designed and developed by NetConstruct as part of their sponsorship of the 2008 Show included:

  1. Online results service throughout the show
  2. Photography for the 3 days for the online gallery
  3. Live video streaming through Netconstruct's digital video

This allowed virtual visitors from all over the world to see what was going on over the 3 days.

This year's show was again a huge success at the popular Harrogate venue in July.  Gate figures were amongst the highest in the event's history, reaching an outstanding 126,376 visitors over the three days.

Interest in the event rose significantly from April onwards as demonstrated by the website traffic figures.  There was an increase of 33% of people visiting the site between the months of May and August..

This year attracted some very special royal guests; HM the Queen and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh.  They were placed in the competent hands of Show Director Bill Cowling; he affirms "It was clear that they have genuine interest and empathy with country life, and that showed throughout the day".
