NetConstruct wins International Website of the Year Award
December 07 , 2009
NetConstruct’s website for the ‘White Rose Forest’ has won the 2009 Kentico International Website of the Year Award in the Association category.
The awards were truly international, as this spread of the 16 winners shows. Five winning sites are from North America, four from the UK, two from Austria and one each from Australia, Belgium, Czech Republic, Ireland and Switzerland.
The White Rose Forest is a partnership of local authorities, government and voluntary organizations working to create a healthy, prosperous and environmentally resilient place for the people, economy and wildlife.
David Bentley, managing director of NetConstruct, said “Outstanding engagement with target audiences is a critical objective for the White Rose Forest – so at the heart of the winning site you’ll find inspiring design, easy navigation, stimulating digital video and a progressive use of interactive mapping.”
In acknowledging the success of White Rose Forest, we’re delighted to offer our congratulations to the Great Inns of Britain for making the finals too – and, as a result, NetConstruct was one of only two developers to have two sites shortlisted.
The Great Inns of Britain is a collection of Britain’s finest inns and Michelin-starred dining experiences, set in some of the country’s most beautiful landscapes and heritage towns.
The Kentico awards are open to the 800 web development agencies worldwide who are using the Kentico content management system. NetConstruct is a Kentico Gold Partner and ranked No3 by Kentico in the UK.
Other clients for whom NetConstruct has developed in Kentico CMS include Yorkshire Forward, Business Link, Welcome to Yorkshire, Langleys Solicitors, Cedar Court Hotels, Tennants Auctioneers, NWES and the Worshipful Company of Clothworkers of the City of London.
