No soggy bottoms at NetConstruct

Fridays this autumn have seen staff at NetConstruct, the Wetherby internet company, arriving with the fruits of their labours for BakeConstruct – their own version of the hit TV show The Great British Bake Off.

Very appropriately, one of the company’s internet clients is the Worshipful Company of Bakers of the City of London, who appeared alongside presenters Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood early in this year’s series.

From the professionally exquisite to the ‘gave it a good go’, the NetConstruct bakers swap graphics for graters and keyboards for cake stands. All the money raised goes to Martin House now in its 25^th anniversary year of caring for terminally ill children and their families.

Last week David Johnson, Martin House Chairman, joined the team for a BakeConstruct tasting of superb Halloween Owl Cupcakes from senior designer Charlotte Nelson. 

“It’s a great pleasure to see enjoyment that firms like NetConstruct get out of their invaluable fund raising support for Martin House”, said David, “Charlotte’s Halloween Owl Cupcakes  were artistically brilliant and absolutely scrumptious!”
