The results of the Kentico Site of the Year 2016 were announced earlier this month and NetConstruct were awarded the Best Industrial/Manufacturing site for their work on Ryobi Tools.

Shortlisted by Kentico along with two others out of all submissions, the Ryobi Tools website endured a month of public voting before being awarded the trophy. A target for all Kentico partners each year, NetConstruct invested a lot of time to create a unique, EMS-driven usability that gives the Ryobi customers an experience to remember.

The key focus of the site is to encourage repeat visits and create closer customer relationships through personalisation and email marketing. Pushing the boundaries of the Kentico Email Platform, over 5 million emails were sent to the European markets over the course of the year. The site has seen a 66% increase in traffic and gathered over half a million regular email subscribers – allowing Ryobi to improve their YouTube views by over 500% and convert into real sales with Price Spider – a ‘near commerce’ approach to online shopping.

NetConstruct's efforts with the email marketing module provided the opportunity to feed directly into the Kentico development team – something that all Kentico users will benefit from in versions to come.

Growth of the Ryobi database has continued exponentially in 2017 and with further innovative development pieces already in the pipeline, NetConstruct are already preparing for next year’s awards!
